Elegant in its simplicity and striking in its detail, Raat Ki Rani is a handcrafted clutch designed to let exceptional textiles take centre stage. Made from luxurious navy silk, its clean, flat silhouette and hidden construction create a refined canvas for the intricate organza lace that adorns the front. Embroidered with metallic thread, sequins and delicate beads, the lace becomes more than embellishment. It becomes wearable art.

Measuring 11 inches wide by 5.5 inches high, the clutch is slim yet practical, featuring two interior compartments to keep your essentials neatly organized. Invisible stitching and a seamless finish allow the craftsmanship to remain quietly in the background, drawing the eye instead to the textile itself.

The Story

I've always believed textiles tell stories.

A piece of embroidered lace isn't just decoration. It's the result of countless stitches, careful hands, artistic traditions and techniques passed quietly from one generation to the next. Before I ever begin making a clutch, I spend time choosing the textile that will become its heart. Sometimes it's the craftsmanship that catches my attention. Sometimes it's the colours. Sometimes it's simply a feeling that this piece deserves another life.

For this design, I chose a richly embroidered organza lace where soft metallic florals intertwine with hand-applied sequins and beads. Framed against deep navy silk, it reminds me of antique textiles displayed in museums. Beautiful enough to admire, but made to be lived with instead.

Every Studio Saba clutch is made entirely by my hands. I select the materials, reinforce the structure, stitch each panel, assemble every detail and finish each piece myself. There are no production lines, no factories, and no shortcuts. Just patience, craftsmanship and a genuine love for beautiful textiles.

I don't create pieces to chase trends. I create them because I believe art shouldn't only hang on walls or sit behind glass. It can be carried, worn, celebrated and woven into everyday life.

My hope is that this clutch becomes part of your own story. One you reach for at weddings, birthdays, celebrations, quiet dinners and spontaneous evenings out.
