For Zareen, I started with a body of premium black linen. It's understated, elegant and lets the real star take centre stage: a beautiful velvet lace stitched with shimmering sequins. I loved how the softness of the velvet contrasted with the texture of the linen. It didn't need anything more.

The Story

When I found this velvet lace, I knew I didn't want to compete with it. I wanted to frame it. So I paired it with black linen, kept the shape simple, hid the stitching, and let the textile tell its own story.

Every Studio Saba clutch is made entirely by my hands. I cut every panel, reinforce the structure, stitch each piece together and finish every detail myself. There are easier ways to make a bag.

This just happens to be the way that feels right.

To me, these clutches aren't accessories. They're small canvases. A way to take beautiful textiles, give them a new life, and turn them into something you'll actually use instead of admire from a shelf.
